Suzanne Origlio PhD

Dr. Suzanne Origlio is a corporate psychologist who has been consulting with organizations for over twenty years. Her areas of specialty include employee selection, individual assessment, leadership assimilation, executive coaching and development, team building, and career guidance – all things that are invaluable to sales training programs.

Dr. Origlio earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Florida and completed her master’s and doctoral degrees in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. She began her professional career as an internal consultant for Southern Company, a large electric utility holding company, where she worked in the organizational effectiveness and leadership development departments.

With an extensive knowledge of corporate culture and individual motivation, Dr. Origlio has a deep understanding of what makes companies thrive, giving her unique insight into effective sales force training. At Southern Company she developed a career development program and has implemented culture change efforts in Georgia Power Company and AT&T, where she performed a strategic job analysis and identified a new success profile for call center employees.

Working with clients like Sprint, University of Georgia, and Texas Health Resources she has helped to structure their leadership development programs, conducted hundreds of assessments of high potential management candidates and facilitated decision-making sessions for executives. She has hands-on experience analyzing job requirements, creating competency models and performance measurement systems, and providing feedback and coaching for organizations such as St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Episcopal Children Services, GATE, United Way, CSX, and Honey Baked Ham. Dr. Origlio enjoys helping individuals and teams perform more effectively.
